twenty-six.design is an independent design, editorial, and research studio led by Jarrett Fuller. Our work takes shape across a variety of media, from books and websites to podcasts and installations and we work with clients large and small, around the world.

In addition to client work, we also produce experimental work, research projects, and original content, including Scratching the Surface, a weekly design criticism podcast; readings.design, an online archive of canonical graphic design texts; and other books and speculative projects.

Pratt Communications Design MFA Thesis

Every year, Pratt Institute's Graduate Communication Design program publishes a printed publication to showcase the graduating students' work. This year, the department asked us to design a digital publication in place of the traditional printed book that would be available online. Working closely with the department, we created a searchible database that houses detailed descriptions and images of every student's final thesis project.

Year 2018

twenty-six designed and developed the site using Jekyll, an open source static site generator that allowed the students to submit their own content into a database that populated the site. This year's graduating class featured 46 thesis projects.
In addition to showcasing student work, the site also provides information on the department curriculum, thesis requirements, and introductory letters from the department leads.
