twenty-six.design is an independent design, editorial, and research studio led by Jarrett Fuller. Our work takes shape across a variety of media, from books and websites to podcasts and installations and we work with clients large and small, around the world.

In addition to client work, we also produce experimental work, research projects, and original content, including Scratching the Surface, a weekly design criticism podcast; readings.design, an online archive of canonical graphic design texts; and other books and speculative projects.

Redefine: Facebook 2015 GMS Summit

The Facebook Global Marketing Solutions Summit is an annual internal sales conference held in San Francisco, CA. In 2015, Jarrett led the design of the conference's identity, based on the theme "Redefine." Drawing on ideas around innovation and process, we created an evolving visual identity that included both the work the attendees were doing at Facebook and innovators throughout history who have redefined their fields.

Instead of a static logo, we asked every attendee to write the word "redefine" in their own handwriting. We used these submissions to create an evolving identity where the logo was written in a different person's handwriting throughout the event. These 'logos' were then paired with duotone images of innovators through history.

Printed Collateral

Printed collateral was also designed and printed including a pocket agenda, name badges, stickers, and posters.

This project was completed while Jarrett worked in-house as a designer at Facebook. Additional design was done by Zach Miller, Patrick Fagan, and Steve Farrell as well as an external agency that helped push the brand into stage design, signage, and environmental graphics.
